The soaring mountains, rolling hills, and unspoilt coastline of Asturias offer a huge range of excellent walking opportunities; from people looking for a gentle stroll, to serious walkers looking for a challenging high mountain trek. This web page is meant to provide information to help walkers and visitors enjoy the area to its best.

In the menus above you will find general information about the area and in the “Walking Categories” on the right a personal account of different walks plus technical information including maps and GPS tracks for the walk.  At the hotel we are only too pleased to help advice guests on the best and most suitable walks according to their walking abilities and the weather conditions, as well as provide information on any recent occurrences which may affect the walk. We have also produced a book with 42 self guided walks in the area and have maps to lend people and the actual self guided walking notes are available for guests staying at the hotel .

Do remember it is very important to take adequate preparation before walking in the area. Take into consideration that this can be a steep and precipitous mountainous region, often with few waymarks, and very changeable weather.
